Melissa Tuohy, APRN, CWS is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over a decade of diverse clinical experience and a strong focus on advanced wound care. She began her healthcare career as a Registered Nurse, gaining broad experience across multiple clinical environments, including emergency medicine, where she developed strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage complex patient presentations in high-acuity settings.
Building on her extensive bedside experience, Melissa advanced her training to become a Nurse Practitioner, where she now provides comprehensive, patient-centered care with an emphasis on the evaluation and management of complex wounds. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based medicine with practical insights gained through years of direct patient care.

Melissa holds the distinguished Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) credential, reflecting advanced expertise in wound assessment, advanced treatment modalities, and the management of chronic and non-healing wounds. She is committed to delivering high-quality, multidisciplinary care aimed at improving healing outcomes and enhancing quality of life for patients with complex wound conditions.
